Minky Couture Cozy Blanket Review: Why I LOVE MINKY COUTURE!
One of the reasons I love it is because of it’s story. Founder Sandi Hendry made one for her daughter, who was hospitalized at the time to bring her comfort. Shortly after, she began making a few more until she realized how much people loved her cozy blankets! Since then, she’s given work to many local moms that are able to work from home as seastresses in Utah. This is just incredible to me! I will always support a company that gives jobs to more women, and it’s female founded. Along with that, they continue to donate thousands of blankets a year to people throught charities, hospitals and more. I urge you to try these heart-warming blankets!
Another reason, I love Minky Couture is because they are easy to clean! I mean, I’ve had beautiful blankets like this one, that I can’t easily wash. You can wash your Minky blanket properly in cold water with no fabric softener. It’s 100% polyster and vegan, and their warmth varies on what styles you get. The Hugs and Urban blankets, will be hotter, since they’re thicker. However, the Pattern, Sorbet, and Divinity styles are thinner styles will be a little bit cooler.

When I first got Minky Couture, I wisely got a blanket for each us, a totall of 4 blankets! I thought that I’d get this beautiful green one for the boys, a floral one for me, a HUGE leopard print one for the couch and an extra one in case the boys wanted one. Somehow, my 5 year old now claimed the floral one and I constantly reach for this green one. My mom claimed one and I know use the leopard print exclusively!
