The Mask- mini-spa at home!

Masks are an easy way to feel like you went to the spa at home. If you’ve got 10-15 minutes, you can really make a difference in how your face looks and feels.  Here are my current favorites that address different issues and deliver!

Puriface– A hug for your face- $14.99

I am really impressed with this mask because of it’s moisturizing qualities. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a mask make my face so smooth and replenished after one try. If you have dry skin, I highly recommend it. I have oily skin, but my skin has taken a beating in this crazy Winter/Spring in Chicago and some days even my shiny face looks cracked. I feel like it’s those really cold days that accumulate and over time dry your skin out and start to produce lines and wrinkles that stick! I have loved this product for this reason. Also, you CANNOT beat the price and it’s virtually odorless. I try to take a bath with mask or do it when I don’t have to multi-task because it doesn’t travel well with you. You have to keep still and warn your family as you will look really freakin’ scary! Get 15% off with code PURI2Q18!

Juice Beauty Eye Mask Look awake! $55

This is the thing for when your eyes are struggling! Bags, fine lines, deep lines, you name it….if I’m looking tired and my eyes are droopy, this is what I reach for. I use this 1-2 times a week and love it! It’s also a fairly good mask to wear if you need to be doing other things. 🙂

SK II- The Miracle worker $17/mask or a set of 10 for $170

Ok, this is is not cheap, but it’s cheaper than a trip to the spa OR botox. Just sayin’. This mask helps you get rid of melasma, moisturizes and really brightens your face. I do this mask about once a month. If you are curious about this line I recommend stopping by the Saks Fifth Ave (only place I have found it) counter and chatting with a rep. Usually they are happy to give you samples because they really believe in their product, and it’s a good way to feel good about the investment. I use the SK II essence religiously as it got rid of my melasma, and though you can get it online I always wait to go to the store and nab free samples! Half the time I don’t have time and just grab it online, either way, it’s always in my rotation. You have to just chill with this mask, it doesn’t travel well and like Puriface you will scare your entire family!

Sunday Riley Saturn Sulfur Acne Treatment Mask   The cleaner upper $55

This mask is phenomenal for breakouts. I feel like my skin generally misbehaves but once the breakouts start, it’s like I can’t contain them! This nibs it in the bud. This is pricier than drugstore masks but you don’t need to gob on a ton.

Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel “pregnancy” – safe for moms to be! $45

I wasn’t aware of this when I was pregnant but I love the quality of Juice Beauty products and if I were pregnant now wouldn’t use anything else on my skin actually! This is formulated to be safe for unborn babies. It’s got alpha hydroxyl acid, which helps brighten and fight discoloration that occurs during pregnancy with all of the hormonal fluctuations.

Goop Exfoliating Instant Facial– For the Quickie lover $42

This takes 3 minutes, and it’s amazing. Simple as that! It smoothes out fine lines, leaves your skin feeling really fresh and soft and is mostly organic. I use this about twice a week at night as part of my night cleansing routine. Sometimes I use it more often if I have a photo shoot or just feeling like I need the extra lift!
