Ombre Smokey Eye Tutorial

Ok, now that it’s REALLY Spring, I’m inspired to change up my make-up! You guys gave me great feedback about the first smokey eye tutorial, so I am showing you a different look that I came up with a couple of weeks ago!

I love the Chanel cream shadows but any cream shadow is will work with this look. This is the how to:

  1. Once you’ve done you’re eyebrows, sweep a medium golden brown with your ring finger across your lid going a bit heavier on the outer corners and slightly up. Stay under brow bone and go a little above at the outer corners.
  2. Using a small bristled brush sweep the black matte cream shadow along your lashline as if it were eyeliner. Make it really dark by your lashes and lighten up a bit as you slightly take it thicker than you would an eyeliner.
  3. I like to go a little upwards and longer to create wide-set eyes with the black shadow. Then I dab a little under my eyes at the outer corners.
  4. Starting at the lower middle eye and going out, I sweep out and up, slightly upward to complete a slightly soft cat-eye look.
  5. I finished off by putting a super light iridescent pale pink on my brown bone for light. You can also use a highlighter! Add mascara as desired and viola!  What other make up looks would you like to see? Let me know! XO, Z
