Easy Chic for errands, drop-off & dinner plans!

Winter dressing is tricky. So. Many. Layers. So. Much. Slush. Most of us have roughly 5-10 minutes to get dressed before we head off to our busy day and endless layers, though fun, can slow you down. Add kids to the mix and you’ll be there all day. Sometimes, I’m not sure where the day will take me. An adventure?! For those long weekdays of hustle/bustle, I love wearing neutrals with options for fun. With a warm, slush-resist base that will persevere through meetings, snow, milk explosions or worse, you’ll be set.  I styled this outfit with this type of day in mind:

-Cozy heather sweater with flow. So many options, a rec here!

-Sturdy black leggings with a tuxedo stripe for structure like this one or this one. Mine are G Label, they’re sold out but re-stock frequently.

-Buckled flat booties that are comfy for commutes, lugging children or shopping but still look, well…buckled up 😉

-I added a newspaper boy hat to pull the outfit together and as an instant fix for those bad hair days.

The handbag is a deceptively large bag (can hold goldfish, books, diapers) and good for the wear in tear all while featuring sequins! It’s extremely affordable and will add instant glam! Love this whole cross-body collection from Aldo.

This outfit allowed me to play, shop, clean, and work throughout the day. For dinner plans, a quick switchero to silver sparkly boots (my option here) turned my look from day to night! Add red lipstick, some dangley earrings and you’re golden!
