Hi Glenora! First of all, what qualififes as skin care professional? I’m not a dermatologist but I am a beauty consultant. This is a personal blog so I am drawing from my experiences for the post. However, I have clients with all types of skin types that I consult and are very happy, so again drawing from my experiences in that, their feedback and their return business. You are correcct, skincare is really unique to individuals, just like fitness, motherhood, fashion, basically everything on this blog.All we can really do is talk about the information that is out there, our personal take on it and do our best to break it down for the general public. Every . individual has their unique skin just like their DNA. Skin reacts differently to products and client history is being taken into consideration. This is when skin problems occur when somebody buys a skin care product just because it worked on others.
