Back to School Lunch Ideas with Yoplait

This post is sponsored by General Mills, but all opinions are my own.

Whenever my mama tribe and I get together, the conversation always veers to our kid’s diets. We exchange battle ground stories about what they are and aren’t eating, as well as how much! Big little mom wins always include getting our kids to eat well and bellies full! Back to school lunch ideas are always a hot topic with the parents in my circle. What to pack? What will be eaten? Thrown away? Thanks to Yoplait, I can relax a bit. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I know it’s the one thing in their lunch box that I can confidently say they will eat! That’s the main reason why I love shopping for Yoplait yogurt products at Walmart!

Stock up for back to school

These are some of their faves:Yoplait Original cup in Strawberry, the Smoothie for breakfast (extra points if Paw Patrol is on it ;)) and GoGurt any day of the week! My bi-weekly routine is to stock up at Walmart.com and freeze half of the Go-Gurts. I put half in the fridge so that I can have them ready to go when the munchies hit. The other half I put in the freezer to have them ready to go for the lunch boxes. The yogurt smoothies are a great on the go breakfast supplement for those rushed mornings when the kids haven’t had quite enough to eat but it’s time to go! The classic core cup (pictured on the left) is another favorite when we have a bit more time to eat it at home!

Back to school lunch ideas- big little wins!

Go-Gurt has a special place in my heart because it’s one of the first foods that my picky eater (not gonna say who, but pictured above), really embraced as a 14 month old. He took his sweet time in eating anything but milk, and didn’t like any food! What?! As a mom, it was mortifying! We didn’t know what to do because he wouldn’t eat anything but baby food or milk. When we finally had a break-through at 14 months, Go-Gurt was one of the foods that he loved and couldn’t get enough of! For breakfast, snack or after-dinner dessert, he will never turn down a Go-Gurt. To him, it’s a treat, he says it’s yummy! To me, it’s a food that I eat myself and know is good for him. I love that is getting a great source of Vitamin D & Calcium! Win/Win!

After Dinner Treat for the Win!

Now for a special after dinner treat or a lunch surprise, check out the Dunkers! The Dunkers have a generous serving of yogurt and cookie dippers that make for a wholesome cookies & cream treat! My boys have no idea that their special treat is actually good for them! Shhh! Don’t tell them. 🙂

I hope that you give these delicious, dancing mama approved Yoplait yogurt products a try during this back to school season! You will be happily surprised at how easy they go down. 🙂 Wishing you all a happy, belly full, joy fillled back to school! XO, Z
